That's the code for the CAM sensor not the CAS.

Check in live data for CAM CRANK sync.

There is no cam sensor on 17td. Had 2 codes at first, rpm sensor fault and no rpm from ecu. Change sensor now only has second fault of no rpm from ecu

Its 1998 model astra with gm engine and diesel on rocker cover, pump and injectors at front

I have had my power tester on it to plug on ECD on pump and only has one live feed going to it.No power to other 5 wires. It also has power going to the black wires for solinoid and spill valve on pump. Fuel is going to pump but not to injectors

How did you get that code? This car is not eobd compatible,so a cheapo reader will give incorrect info. Also this car will have an immobiliser module attached to the diesel pump.

Was done with a Snap On Ethos Diagnostic scanner with keys

Be better using "TECH II" or Opcom.

As the "Doc" stated this is too old for most scanners.

Even Snap on is going to be unreliable.

As you code for a Cam sensor which isn't fitted to that engine.

So it's a case of the right scanner needed.

Diesel specialist or buy Opcom from Ebay,
