Toyota lANDCRUISER TD 3L LC3 - starter battery? - strickjumpers

Can anyone tell me if on the diesel turbo 2003 model Landcruiser only uses one of the batteries for starting the car or are they twinned in parallel. thanks. mike.

I think you will find the batteries are in series for 24 volt start ,then in parallel for alternator 12 volt charging system for both batteries

They're in parallel. The old 80 series had the 24v starting, but not the newer ones.
