2003 deawoo matiz SE+ - Daewoo matiz door lock - phoenix76x

Hi, My daughter owns a 2003 Daewoo matiz 0.8 SE + and the the door lock is currently broke. I am looking to replace just the door or possibly all the barrels so she stilll only needs one key, but looking in to buying I am seeing different options with or without immobiliser. The trouble is I have no idea if this car has one fitted or not or if it is disabled. I have searched online to try and find spec for the SE+ but cannot find a definitive answer.

Is the immobiliser only linked to the ignition barrel so if I was to just change the door barrel would it make no difference either way?

Car of this age will definitely have an immobilser with a "chipped" key.This is only needed for the ignition barrel .So you can fit any door lock unit with/without chip system.
