Qashqai dci 1.5 2011 - Qashqai dead - Dean merritt

I jumped in my car this morning and turned the key and nothing. Looked at the dash and all fairy lighs were lit so tried turning the key again and nothing.... not even a click or anything. This happened about three times.

I waited a few seconds then tried again then it started......

Ive since been out and restarted the car with no issues..... Has anyone an idea what could have been the cause and is something breaking down.

First step.Get the battery tested.It could be the original.

If it does it again try the spare key. It's not uncommon for the chipped keys to fail and thus the immobiliser won't allow you to start the car.
