Help!

My engine won't stop, even if I press the off/on button. One managed to shut it off by stalling the engine, but even then it took two attempts before it didn't restart itself regardless. A red i is now flashing on the dash.

Is it safe to leave locked up in this state until the garage opens in the morning?

To be safe disconnect the negative lead from the battery, replace it tomorrow to start the car.

If you have a start stop button, check that. May be worn out. Also disconect negative, as recomended before

Do they still have cut-off valves, years since I owned an oiler?

Is this keyless stop/start?Make sure the key is within range inside the car cabin.

I’ve just got the same problem which I think is something to do with the auto stop/start. Having disconnected and reconnected battery it has been working fine but still worried it might come back. Am running with stop/start deactivated. Did you get the problem sorted and if so hoa
