Ford - Ford Focus Stereo 6000 CD - Paul Angell

I have just bought a ford focus 09 plate. It has the 6000 CD stereo. This is the 1-10 button type and not the 1-6. It is locked at the moment. I have the code but no manual. I know you type the code in incrementily via the 1-4 buttons but what button and how long do i press it for. Thanks Paul.

PS a link to the manual would be great. I can find one to the 6 button version but not the 10.

You need to remove the stereo to get the serial number off it. You can fashion appropriate tools from a coathangar (yes, seriously) or I've even known people to use toothpicks. Youtube will be your best guide.

Once you have the serial number, then if it is an 'M' followed by 6 digits, go here and enter the number to get the code :

If it is a 'V' serial number then you will need to use one of the paid services, we cannot provide those here.

Been ther done that. Cant find a tutoriol on a V series. Do you not have any answers than to tell me to look elsewhere? Even a link mate.

I had to do a bit of research on this one!

I've found a YouTube video which demonstrates how to enter the Keycode on the 10 button 6000CD Ford radio:

It appears exactly the same procedure as for the 6 button unit, i.e. enter the four digit Keycode using buttons 1,2,3, and 4, then finally pressing Button 5 to enter code into the radio.

Galaxy thank, thank you for you diffinitive answer and link. RobJP, your link was for a 6 button, granted it apperars to be the same procedure.

Still cant find a onlin manual for it though.
