BMW 335D GT x drive v 330D Tourer X drive - BMW 3 series dilemma - strath

Hi, I am looking to purchase either of the used 2015 BMW's above however the GT being a 335D has 15k and the tourer has 9k miles. Both have lots of extras and are M Sport plus. I am trying to weigh up which is the best deal as the GT is £2k more than the tourer? One point being the GT will get a facelift this July 2016 and wondering If I should hold off and get the current GT model a little cheaper after the facelift ?

Any advice / reccomendation would be much appreciated

Firstly, a BMW F30-series forum which may be able to help you out. The UK section is particularly lively.

Though they're just as likely to be able to find you a way of getting a brnad new car for incredible levels of discount. There is one (in particular) person in sales at a BMW dealer who will probably leave you astounded at the deals that are available buying new.

They are, all told, very different cars in terms of useability. I've got a 325d tourer, (and had it for nearly 2.5 years now) and it suits what I want out of a car perfectly. Whereas a GT, with the boot lip and the sloping boot lid, really wouldn't.

So what do you NEED a car to do. If pram / pushchair duties then the tourer wins hands down. If it doesn't matter, then the GT or even the F30 saloon might well fit your needs.

GT has a longer wheelbase so rear seat room is much better.

Thanks Rob I'll follow your guidance. I'm not too bothered re boot size although I think the tourer will be more practical and value for money...
