Ford Focus Zetec 1600 Petrol 55 Reg. - Leaky Core Plugs - diddy11cg

Correspondence regarding water in the spark plug tray suggests a leaky core plug, apart from water ingress from a leaky bonnet. Surely, if it was a leaky core plug, then the coolant in the reservoir would go down. My Focus has never ever needed topping up by me despite a three thousand mile trip round Europe and yet my garage is trying to tell me it is a core plug. I don't believe it! Any Comments?

Yes,these do suffer leaking core plugs in the cylinder head.Remove the spark plug leads and look for any brown residue ,corrosion.
