Audi A3 Sportback - All Season Tyre Pressures - IanProc

I'm in complete confusion about what tyre pressures to use on my A3. I've just fitted four new Michelin Cross-Climate Tyres to my A3 replacing 224/45 R17 91Y with 225/45 R17 94W spec tyres (which Michelin and the Tyre Dealer say are 100% compatible).

However the tyre pressure sticker on my car lists 32/29 PSI for 91Y tyres and 35/32 for 94V XL M+S.

So should I go with the higher or lower pressures, or somewhere inbetween?

Hi

Can I 'bump' this? I just fitted four of these to my Audi A3 2.0 TDi (2014) and the fitter put 38F/35R in. This is the figure quoted on the door plate for M&S tyres which, to be fair, these are endorsed with.

I tried chatting online with 'Paul' from the Michelin helpline and after changing his mind from standard pressure to 'M&S' pressure (which is 3psi higher) closed the call after advising me to speak to Audi!

My view is that the tyres are more similar in construction to Summer tyres than Winter but wouldn't want to run them under-inflated. They do feel very hard with one up though :-(
