Is the clutch replacement in the Focus not working out, maybe if you update that or any one of your other threads first.

My daughter has had a new one of these for 18 months now. No problems with anything to do with the engine or the car in general. Not massive mileage but used every day for her commute of 40 miles plus her social activities. I have driven it several times myself and I am really surprised at how much power the engine develops. I dare say only time and distance will tell if it is a classic engine or not but for now it really does the business.

I've had mine for just over 2 years now from new and apart from an electrical relay failure causing it not to start ( fixed under warranty ) I've had no problems mpg in mid to late 40s around town , better on longer runs ( mid 50s motorway runs) its lovely to drive with plenty of power for me 10l ecoboost 100ps
