A work colleague of mine has just informed me that whilst attempting to fix his non functioning radio he has managed to generate a dash full or warning lights.
The problem started with the radio suddenly not working a few days ago. We were discussing this in the office earlier this week and I suggested that as a place to start he could check the fuses to see if one had blown.
He has done this and informed me that he found that slot "F10" didn't contain a fuse (there was some reference to this slot being part of the audio circuits in the handbook). He popped a spare fuse into this slot and it has generated a number of error messages and warning lights. He has removed the new fuse but these messages are still present on the dash.
Short of going to a Porsche dealer to reset these codes does anyone here have any suggestions on how these messages could be reset please?
As I understand it he hasn't started the car - simply turned the ignition to the first position.
Car is a 2006 Boxster S.
