Ford Grand C-MAX 1.6TDCi - Random buzz felt through accelerator pedal - Ravenger

I've got a Grand C-Max 1.6TDCi that's got a vibration issue that the dealer can't reproduce, but which happens reasonably frequently.

The car has now done around 4,000 miles, and was bought brand new several months ago.

It normally happens when the vehicle is under moderate acceleration just about when the indicator comes up on the dash to change up from 3rd to 4th.

It's a very short (about 1 second) high frequency buzz that you can feel through the accelerator pedal, but not via the steering wheel.

It feels almost like the car is deliberately buzzing the accelerator to tell you to change up. It normally happens only once or twice on a journey, and normally fairly soon after you set off.

Anyone have any idea what it could be?
