My son had the air con regassed back in September and it's now stopped, or nearly stopped working again. With the aid of a UV light I can seen there is leak around where one of the pipes joins the condenser.
Two questions. Is this a common failure on this car? Is it likely to be just a seal failure or perhaps a fracture where the pipe joins the body of the condenser?
Alternatively, as the dye covers quite a large area, what removes the dye so that we can start afresh with tracing the leak?
