Chevrolet Matiz - Engine just stops - Sark Lark
Hello everyone
Having a spot of bother with my little Chevrolet Matize.
Was stopped at traffic lights the radio went off all warning light started to flash and the engine stoped.
A passing motorist kindly stopped and got the car going with jump leads. All was fine for a day same thing happened luckily at home. Put new battery in started up everything sweet, a day later whilst driving put the wipers on which worked very slowly, radio died and all lights flashed up again and the engine cut out.
Any ideas pretty please ....???

Sounds like your alternator has broken.This powers the electricity when the car is running.If the alternator fails then the car runs on its battery.Once the battery dies the engine will cut out.

Charge the battery up and then drive it to a good mechanic who will confirm this.
