Bit of background, my car was broken into about 4 or 5 weeks ago but luckily I managed to plug the steering column bits back together and get it started again and didnt have much of a problem after that. Then about 3 weeks ago I got stuck in traffic and the engine started to overheat. I have been having problems starting it since the overheating and this morning it just wouldnt start and I'm worried that if it does It won't on the way back from work.

I have been starting it by turning the starter motor (which is fine along with the battery) over and having to pump petrol in with the fuel pedal but it has been taking longer and longer and this perticullarly cold morning I have just given up as I don't want my car stuck in work's car park.

Please help
