When i go on motorway with my suzuki swift 1.3ddis cooling fan cums on and blows blue smoke changed egr valve eps few torn pipes gas sensor in exhaust thimostat nothing else i can change its still dose it an cums up no fault on dinogstests test help please also new water pump fitted and raditor flush ha been done

The fan shouldn't be coming on on the motorway. What's the temp gauge reading?

Same problem since new. Diagnostics show nothing. Fan coming on on motorway in zero degree temperatures. No signs of over heating. Any ideas? Suzuki seem to have none

I'm going to show my complete ignorance here, but as it's a ddis, i assume it's a Diesel.

As such is it just part and parcel of DPF regens?

Yes it's the "diddy diesel of doom" the dreadful Fiat 1.3 litre 4 cylinder thing.

To be avoided at all costs.
