I have had this issue for a while now and last week took the car to the dealer who connected it through diagnostics who did a software update. In addition, no error codes or anything else were registered. Technicials took it for a drive and recorded no problems

Took the car for its first long drive yesterday and the revs start to fluctuate ever so slightly once in a while. I also noticed a pattern where it always occurs when going down an incline. When this happened before I thought it was the DPF regenerating.

I am taking it back to the garage in 2 days time and I have made it clear that I refuse to pay the standard charge for another diagnostic when the last one did not solve the problem.

Any ideas?
