Chrysler grand voyager 2.5crd 2004 - Electrical problems - billycricket

Hi, I hope someone here can help me.

my grand voyager developed a weird fault. Suddenly when you opened the doors the wing mirrors started opening and closing which they have never done since I had it. next time I got in it it wouldntt start, its very sluggish battery and wont fire. I tried jump start and is still sluggish, tried charging battery for 2 days and still sluggish. Had a diagnostic check and it shows nothing. Does anyone have any ideas what may be the cause as my local mechanic has no clue. so dont want to start replacing various parts trying to find the problem. Any help or ideas would be most appreciated.

These cars do not like a jump start as the electrics go haywire.Make sure you have the correct battery and fully up to strength,otherwise there is no way it will start.

Thanks for that, however The battery is fine. Its also had a booster pack and still the same. mechanic just phonedf me and hes heard it could be the starter motor as these are prone to clogging up and wont turn the engine over fast enough. Will have to try that I guess.
