I'd start by looking under the engine cover for any split / chafing hoses, especially the thin rubber vacuum hoses which control the turbo boost, EGR valve and the engine mounts (at least, I *think* they were still vac-controlled on your car, I'm not 100% certain).
Make sure all the hoses you can see / get at are pushed snugly home on their spigots, and are not twisted, kinked, trapped etc.
Then check the big pipes that carry boost from the turbo to the intercooler, and intercooler to inlet -- are any of them wet with oily goop (implying a split)? Check the hose clips that secure them are tight (7mm ring spanner or screwdriver).
If these all check out fine with no obvious faults, then it's worth looking at the electrical connections on the MAF sensor, fuel rail, boost pressure sensor and vac solenoids. Just unplugging and reconnecting these 4 or 5 times can 'wipe' the connectors clean.
In my experience, a dealer is unlikely to check any of these items, but many drivability problems can stem from these.
