Hello,

After changing the battery everything in the car is working fine, bar the CD player. When I try to eject the disc it just makes a clicking sound as if the mechanism is trying to push the disc out, but it stays in. The radio is working, and the current CD will play.

any help offered would be much appreciated,

There is a fix for non-ejecting CD on Nissan Primera Owners Club. www.npoc.co.uk/Forum/topic14557.html

You will need to sign up (free) to view the how-to section.

If not, Clarion Service can fix for around £100. You cannot fit a used CD player without getting it reset by Nissan or Clarion.

I would be very suprised if replacing the battery is the cause.

Many thanks for the link. However I think it looks too tricky/time consuming/prone to failure for me so I'll make do with the radio...until I get totally fed up with the CD that's in it and stump up the cash for Clarion or the local s******ship.

Difficult to hand over money to fix a ten year old car unless it's for essential work!
