Ford Mondeo Estate 2000 (W) - Recover radio code? - Franimal

I've recently bought a Mondeo, with the original radio/CD player. It's all working great (and sounds pretty good too) but I don't have any of the original documentation for the car, so I don't have the radio code should I need to disconnect the battery for any reason.

Does anyone know if there's a way to recover / access the code for the radio?

I'd hate to be left tuneless!

You will need to pull the radio forward slightly to get the serial number printed on the top label.It will start with an M followed by 6 numbers.Post up this number and the code can be calculated.hth

Thanks for that - I don't need it at this point in time fortunately but as I don't use my car very much I tend to get flat batteries during winter and need to charge from time to time! If I haven't replaced the stereo by then I'll get the serial number and post :)
