Volkswagen Golf IV (1998 - 2004) - Volkswagen Golf IV (1998 - 2004) - 2000 1.9 SE TDI - 1345sm

I’ve recently had work done on my VW Golf SE TDI 2000 model.

I’ve had a new fuel pump, 4 new reconditioned injections fitted but still having problems with accelerations.

I’ve taken it to a VW dealer who had kindly informed me that the head gasket has 2 broken brakes in it which is causing the problems.

Can anyone shed on light on this as I never heard of this happening. Just feel like I’m being coned.

Current millage is around 15555.
