Should I buy a new car if it's about to be discontinued?

I have had a Focus for 10 years and I am considering a change to a newer model but I am aware that Ford are planning to discontinue the model. I prefer to have a manual and I have found the above version locally for £20K with 11k miles on the clock. I this a good buy bearing in mind that Ford will no longer making the Focus?

Generally speaking there are no disadvantages to buying a car that is about to go out of production. Manufacturers usually commit to a decade of continued support in terms of parts and servicing for vehicles out of production, so you are unlikely to experience any problems, particularly one that is sold in significant numbers like the Focus.
