I had to replace the rear wheel bearing on my 06 Fiesta in March. Before I bought it, in the previous owners paperwork was 'replace rear wheel bearing' about a year before.

The old bearing was professionally removed and the new one replaced using a press by an experienced mechanic. Bearing was packed with grease , fitted the right way round and torqued up to the correct setting.

Now it sounds very much like the new bearing has gone as well.

Any thoughts from anyone?

am thinking I need to get a new axle stub as well next time ...
