No problems from new but car has stood for 2 weeks and now will not start. Battery has been charged and charger is showing 12 volts. Interior lights come on but main dials do not light up.

It appears that car electrics have just shut down.

Needed to open the doors manually and the rear hatch has not opened.

No response when turning the key in the ignition.

Could a battery failure in the key fob cause this problem?

The fact that the battery reads 12 volts doesn't mean a lot, it will do that when its almost flat, either try another battery or jump starting it from another car.

Thank you, we used a booster pack and the car started no problem but once stopped it would not start again without the Boosert.

I have replace the Battery and everything is OK.
