Read with interest the article in the Daily Express on Saturday (Jennifer Selway) attributed to Keith Adams about the Top 20 cars that are dissapearing from UK roads as they have not achieved classic car status.
In our family we have a Y reg Sierra that has had just one owner and it is immaculate. My father keeps being advised by admirers (of the car) not to let it go for a silly price 'as it is worth something'. Trouble is how do you find out it's value?
saw one on eBay the other day a bit newer (B-reg) being sold through Devon Classic Cars for about £3000, which was quite a shock.
When the time comes, how would you ensure this car goes to an appreciative owner for a fair price rather than ending up as scrap?
