DVLA MOT unusual entry - Red6

Hi

This is a screenshot on part of my car's MOT history. Can anybody think of a reason there would be no MOT record for 2015 yet the vehicle mileage increased by around 40,000 miles in a period of about 18 months?

If that was before you owned it, maybe it wasn't MoT'd - or perhaps it was on a cherished number and the switch history has been lost - maybe the owner was working abroad.

Sometimes if there is a entry into the MOT history which looks at odds with the other entries, or something doesn't look quite right, the car may have come from a Deceased estate where executors/solicitor may have disposed of the car in any number of ways.
