Honda Jazz - Parking sign - TomaszW

Hi all.

I never been good at all those parking signs on the road so I just wanted to clarify something and I need your help.

So the sign on one of the street was free and saying: Mon-Sat 8am to 4pm 1h, no return for 2h. And I parked at 3.40pm. Does it mean I can only stay till 4.40pm? Or because 1h stay will already be after 4pm then I can stay even until next day? I didn't get any fine on my windshield but that's just confusing for me. Can someone explain how it works in such case?

Between 8am - 4pm Mon - Fri, you can only park in those spaces for one hour.

After you leave the parking space, you are not allowed to return to park in that space during the next two hours.

If you parked there at 3:40pm, all parking restrictions would end at 4:00pm, so you could stay parked in the space (if you chose to do so) until 8:00 am in the morning (presumably until 9:00 am).

This is correct. However, I recommend taking a photo of your car with a visible timestamp as a precaution. It could be helpful if you receive a parking ticket, especially if you encounter an overzealous or unreliable traffic warden."
