Hi all,

Could do with a favor - Does anyone have access to ukvehicledata.co.uk?

I have tried to run a Reg check on a car that is being a nuisance locally with parking and general terrible driving and every check I have tried to do has come back unsuccessful, I have tried DVLA / askMID & even parts suppliers to see if the reg will show anything. No joy.

I would appreciate if someone could try the reg on UKVD - I'm concerned the vehicle hasn't got insurance / tax or even be legal reg,

Will supply reg if someone can help.

Have you yet reported the facts to the local constabulary?

If not, I suggest you do, before becoming a private Sleuth.

I know but I dont want to report someone without having facts,

Have you seen how hard it is to report a "unlicensed" reg? I cant even find where I need to report it.

Just trying to get facts straight before going too far and its a DVLA issue and hes fully legal or something silly.

Take a picture of the offending vehicle showing the reg, if the VIN is visible in the windscreen get a picture of that then pop in the local Police station & speak to them.

You can check both tax and MOT online without any special databases or VIN

And "if" you have had an accident involving that car you can check if it is insured.

The service is available through the DVLA for £2.50 but there are a few hurdles to cross before they release the data .

They need to know the reason for your enquiry and is used mostly after an accident if you know the reg no of the car involved
