Cut off from online speed awareness course - Random

I've just got cut off from a speed awareness couse by slightly adjusting my screen therefore diconnecting the power. Silly me! I'd done all but 30 minutes of the course.

Has anyone knowledge of anything similar happening? I expect I'll have to pay again. I phoned the helpline number as soon as it happened, recieved recorded message asking me to email them which I've done. Now awaiting a reply.

If the computer was still powered on, how would they know that the screen was off if you hadn't contacted them?

I think you need a Reading Awareness Course.

Once PC or tablet and screen were back up could you not rejoin via the link you used the first time?

I did one of these a couple of years ago. I don't remember a specific drill for loss of connection but there are enough people who have wobbly internet, never mind the possibility of power outages or other issues that there must be a means of dealing with it.
