Ford Fiesta - current DVLA times for V5C - change of address - Chris1974

I’m selling my car while also moving out of my current address at the end of this month. If I notify the DVLA of my change of address so that my V5C can be updated, what happens if my new V5C is delayed or lost in the post? I'm aware DVLA say on their website it is 5 working days, but realistically, how long does does it take to receive the updated document? Is there an option to have it expedited/sent by registered post?

I’ve recently updated my v5 details, got a return document within 7 days . I wouldn’t worry about it too much .
