Coming soon: the Volvo EM90 - Metropolis.
So Volvo are going to build an electric MPV, guessing it will try to rival the likes of the Alphard, Elgrand, Starex and the Buick GL8. Not sure any of those have full ev versions.

While there are markets which do favour a large luxurious MPV, the UK ain't one of them. So can't really see it coming here, but you never know!

Yes agreed. They do talk of a ‘global launch’ but also specifically China, which thinking about it is interesting given alot of the luxury mpv market is instead RHD. Buick GL8 is (or was) relatively popular in China tand i suppose given Geely’s ownership a Chinese launch is to be expected.

Maybe we will see it arrive here in more basic trim as a london cab!
