SsangYong Korando - A short continental tour - _

Drove wife, dog and self and a very full car off to the Moselle region of germany, including a stop south of brussels on the way, and back via Bruges, Just ona 1000 miles all told.

Fuel consumption was about 34 mpg, traffic horrendous most of the time, except for driving across luxembourg.)

Car as comfy as ever and zero problems, saw 2 other Korandos in Germany and Belgium, which is 2 more than I have seen on essex roads.

Always worried about owning shall I say a not very popular car but good to be individualistic! Mrs Sammy has a long standing penfriend from school days who lives just outside Liege and we have visited a few times. My favourite place is a visit to Spa in the spring. In the town is a group of copper beech trees and they are stunning. The Ardennes are lovely and in the early days part of the main road was a part of the F1 circuit, so I have driven on a F1 circuit. The buildings in Bruges are worth the visit but when I was last there the waterways were a disappointment as they were a dirty black colour.

Yes, I drove on the Spa francorchamps circuit many years ago driving up from the Alps tp Antwerp. Bruges was nice but full of mosquitos so had to close windows, (too late ....drat )

Traffic on the Brssels ring was slow and plenty of roadworks everywhere.

On a note, apart from 1 early glitch, the korando has been fault free and the interior is a nice place to be..
