A version of that video on the Telegraph's channel starts a couple of seconds earlier and shows the car swerving out to the right before the bike becomes visible, presumably to block the biker from overtaking the queue of traffic. The car driver deserves everything he got.

This "road rage poster boy" is now doing 15 years in prison for a similar assault on a motorcyclist in the USA, albeit with more serious injuries.

And as I remember the case it was 15 years with no chance of parole.
