Red light camera flashed twice as I stalled. - Steveroko
Hi all I’m very worried as last night I was travelling just now on the Great west road in west London. Between Syon Lane and Osterley station going east bound the lights were solid red for 10seconds so I stopped however I was very close to the line.

However my shoes were very wet, I stupidly was about to stall the car as it was in gear and my car crept forward at maybe 1 mph or something honestly this moved inches while I was balancing the biting point back down. Once my front two tyres went over slightly I saw a flash at which point I 100% am stationary however my car didn’t move and maybe 1 second later there was another flash.

Again I hold my lands up I shouldn’t of ever been that close to the white lines. Any idea with best of ur knowledge will I now get £100 and 3 points? Many thank I’m advance

As Skidpan says, there's limited value in worrying until you get a letter making am allegation and asking you to name the driver etc. One hopes that, where you cross the line minorly as here, then even if the camera is triggered then either the software or a human will mean no NIP follows.

FWIW when I got caught by a red light camera - in Leicestershire - I didn't see a flash at all. At that time, and I don't think its changed since, there's the option of a driver improvement course instead of points.
