Mercedes-Benz GLA - Insurance Claim - jazzyman

This maybe a silly question regarding car insurance? My daughter pranged her car while she was reversing in her drive, bumper is badly damaged and the rear light is smashed. Because it is her fault can she make an insurance claim? She is covered with comprehensive insurance/

Of course she can, that is what comprehensive insurance is for.

Worth popping the car round to a small indy bodyshop, see what they can do about the bumper, add the cost of a light unit and possibly a from a breaker, then balance up the value of not making a claim to what it will cost to get fixed cheaply.

Its not just the excess it may lead to increased premiums and maybe the loss of a 'life' if she has a protected policy.

Agree Backlight on Ebay and hopefully bumper will repair or second hand one. If you claim you will probably suffer with increase premium at renewal
