Citroen berlingo 2012 - Towbar prewiring - strickjumpers

Hello.

Could anyone tell me if a 12 plate citroen berlingo diesel is already wired to the rear of the vehicle to accept plug and relay for tow bar electrics or if needs wired from the fuse box.

Any link to instruction to fit would be much appreciated.

Very unlikely to be pre wired . You’ll need a by- pass relay to prevent overloading the electrics. www.pfjones.co.uk/tow-bars.html

Our 2013 Berlingo was fitted with a Bosal detachable bar by the supplying dealer as a Citroen accessory. IIRC it needed additional wiring and some reprogramming of the vehicle's electrics.

Once done it's a very neat installation and, apart from issues with the car slot for the bar and dirt collecting it's been problem free throughout.

The 13 pin electric socket is a pain if things on the caravan's plug are out of place but that's not a Bosal or Citroen issue.
