Peugeot 308sw..2009 1.6 HDI. - ABS pulsing - strickjumpers

Hello.

My abs light ans ESP warning lights are illuminated.

Car feels like someone is tapping the break ..jolts along.

I would like to disable the ABS to see what happens.

Any idea the best way to achieve this?

Any other ideas welcome..p.s. thought it might also be turbo relayed but rev counter stays rock solid.

Thanks in advance.

Mike.

Pulsating pedal is often caused by a wheel speed sensor or a faulty magnetic sensor ring on the wheel bearing . There may be a fuse you can pull in the engine bay fuse box , but that may knock out other functions. Otherwise disconnect one abs sensor .

Forgot to mention the brake pedal does not pulse.and the sensation I'd not under breaking...both front wheel bearing replaced fault remains..the light want out for about 100 miles but came back..brakes pulsed during period of light out.

If the abs and esp lights are on , then the system has flagged a fault .

Get the car into a good independent garage to be properly diagnosed/fixed. Brakes are a safety critical item so random disconnection of safety features is not recommended as a diagnosis method. As there are warning lights on any faults will have been logged.
