Honda CRV Mark4 - SRS UNIT - TheTruthWillOut

Hi posting on behalf of a friend who like me has a MK 4 petrol automatic SE - hers a 62 reg and mine a 63 reg. She shortly intends to sell the car but has an airbag unit warning light coming on. Her mechanic has advised her that she needs a replacement SRS Unit - SWK44564, model number 77960-T1G-E920-M4. I have tried to find a second hand model online but no luck. There appear to be companies that refurbish repair these units.

Any ideas much appreciated

If I recall, new units are over £500 . There are companies out there that reckon these are repairable from around £60 . Not sure how good they are . Have a look on flea bay .

There is a company called 'Crashdata' that have been repairing these for years. Not expensive (under £100). Google them.
