By the end of the decade it will have the capacity to provide batteries for ~300k cars.
This is ~15% of total UK car sales, which by 2030 will be 100% EV. One would hope that it is but one of many to be built over the next few years!
Will there be sufficient mineral resources to build the batteries?
I've been wondering that for some time. Not in this country, certainly.
There is the Cornwall lithium mine coming on stream. Every little helps goes the phrase there's gold in them there hills
