Yes she is an old girl my VW Beetle nearly 200,000 on the clock starts first time every time,
The battery died so I got another, connected it and now it won’t start it’s trying but the immobiliser kicks in what can I do .. do you no if I can reset it any help would be appreciated thank you

Disconnect the battery for 10 mins and retry .

Disconnect the battery, wait 10 minutes, connect battery, wait 10 minutes without opening doors, use remote to lock/unlock and the try starting car.

Thank you for your help I tried both and it still won’t start it tries then the immobiliser comes on
