Hi all
My Tucson's had no issues starting until today. in short this happened;
Normal key; Opened all ok, turn key= nothing (car battery lots of juice)..
Tried several times, all the same.
Got spare key ; car started first time and every time when tried.
No issue with spare key, contacted Hyundai dealership, response it's the remote's battery and not a key fob programming issue.
Changed the original fob's battery; started car at first attempt, but no more after that, reset fob (turn to acc & press open), car started once but not again, tried spare fob again and no issues at all.
I suspect that the original fob is faulty but have concerns that there maybe a bigger issue and that the spare key may stop working.
Anyone come across the same problem or have any ideas please ?.
Also would a faulty fob come within the car's 5 year warranty please ?.
