I am hoping someone else might have seen this before and have some clues. I think there's something wrong with the turbo as when I accelerate hard it feels as though it starts to boost then gives up? So the revs start rising then they drop back then carry on rising. I managed to get a passenger to video this, and I have uploaded here, you can see I am going along the motorway, drop from 5th to 4th and press the accelerator flat and hold it there, keep watching the rev counter, when it hits 3,000rpm (3 seconds in) it then drops back before rising again. It doesn't look like much in the video but that results in a blip in power and a notable judder in the car where it stops accelerating then starts again. It's much worse when overtaking cyclists etc.

It's a 2013 520D Efficient Dynamics. It's been in the garage and no fault found, no codes no visible issues.
