Vauxhall Insignia - Cracking noise - Gw2016

I have a 2011 insignia 2.0 d 160 bhp saloon there's a cracking noise coming from the front left wheel when turning going forward and reverse. I have changed the wheel bearing and full drive shaft. The noise is still there can anyone help I only have the car 6 months there's 170000 miles = 280000 kms grand car apart from that any help would be much appreciated

There's nothing wrong in the alloy, is there ?

Are all the steering system ball joints OK? Partially seized ones will make a cracking noise when moved, power steering means the extra friction doesn't show at the steering wheel

I'm not sure about ball joints or steering. When I'm driving sometimes when the steering is turned a little to the right around 30mph I can hear something jiggling around not sure if its related. My garage man assured me that the drive shaft and bearing was the fault 300 later the cracking noise is still there. Would a bad spring or top shock mount make a cracking noise

I'm not sure about the wheel itself but it is that area. It sounds like the drive shaft is cracking but new Full shaft installed noise still the same

I wouldn't have thought the driveshaft would make a cracking noise on turning the wheel. Normally they make a rythmic knocking when driving with lots of lock on.

I'd be looking at ball joints and strut bearing. A siezed strut bearing could make the spring jump round when turning the steering wheel - that might sound like a cracking noise. Disco.nect track rod ends and check both wheels pivot easily.

Alloy wheels can get cracked by hitting a large pothole (so I understand). Should be possible to check that.
