Renault Laguna Estate 1.9dci 2008 - Car won't start - Curtis Cleary

Hi everyone new here and having trouble getting the car to start on its own. Recently went to the supermarket and when I came out the car wouldn't start`so bought some jump leads to try and start it, nothing happened so I had to push start it. It's a keyless ignition with a keycard and a start stop button. Since the incident the engine warning light is illuminated when the card is inserted and after about 10 seconds a warning light comes on saying "battery low start engine", since then I charged the battery using a battery charger until the charger said fully charged and then tried to start the engine again, still nothing and then same error message.

Does anybody have any advice?

Thank you for all your help.

“Battery low, start engine” is a fair indication that your battery could be in trouble. Trying to jump start a diesel with poor quality leads usually results in a no go situation. Get the battery tested properly.
