I posted earlier about changing my SLK for an e class, in the back there are two black buttons on the doors (one either side) and I can find no reference to what they are for on line or in the manual. I've pressed them several times and it's definitely not an ejector seat. Anybody any ideas?

Surely there are no back doors on a n E-Class cabriolet?

True, should have put the rear compartment not doors so that was a good spot...still don’t know what the buttons are for.

Why don't you just phone a dealer?

Just normal seat belt arrangement, you often get some symbol or other on controls but these have nothing on them.

Try pressing them with the engine running. They might lower the rear side windows.

My thoughts too. Also try with the roof down, I reckon they might close the windows while the roof is down.
