Does anyone know if there are two different dual mass flywheels for an '08 1.5dci engine? There are short and long crank sensors, so they must relate to differences somewhere.

Slightly longwinded backstory: stepdaughter's Qashqai had a flywheel and clutch fitted in the autumn, by Christmas the starter failed and jammed the flywheel, then yesterday it wouldn't start and the end of the crank sensor is badly damaged. Theory: specialist clutch garage fitted the wrong flywheel, close enough but the starter mesh was poor, so that failed and the crank sensor has been in contact so that has failed.

Anybody had this happen?
