They're good old buses - get a decent one and they are a fine prospect.
However, cut it a bit of slack, it's 15 years old and presumably not costing a fortune so if you're expecting zero issues then be realistic.
They're heavy at the front so quite heavy on suspension parts. A 2005 will have had most of the issues of previous model years ironed out. If it is an auto just check it works correctly when warm.
I'm guessing it would be a E4 185bhp model with the slightly later engine which is OK. Swirl flap linkages usually break but not an issue if you don't fix it.
Check CD player works. Stereo is fabulous if an SE. Great seats, good long distance car.
