With those corrugated panels it looks more Nissen than Toyota...

I think there is a market for small niche looking vehicles built simply with low overall specifications.

Look at how well the v1 Ford KA, did along with the Dacia Sandero, Citroen C1 and its Toyota and Peugeot siblings.

I own a Japanese import (Toyota Estima V6) and have an interest in the more quirky motors, particularly Toyota.. ...and I have seen this one before.

As the article says, the Will brand has been around for some time. I think there was around 3 model incarnations in the early 2000's..and one model had the Celica 1.8 vvti engine.

I love the quirkiness of them.

I remember something called the S cargo, yes, snail like in appearance. Can't remember the Japanese brand, but it was being used for restaurant promotion.

Inside and out.

Now there's a face (the car, not you Trilogy) for radio... Looks like it was designed by Homer Simpson...

Yes, that's HubNut (Ian Seabrook). I've watched quite a few of his Youtube pieces. He buys old bangers, drives them for a time, reports on them and sells them on, but he's restored, and hung on to, a 2CV and an Invacar. He borrows unusual or rare old cars and does a road test on them - worth watching.

Also because he has a following on Youtube, he gets to test new cars as well sometimes. He did a very instructive piece on a Jaguar I-Pace: a lovely car to drive, but the charging infrastructure was completely hopeless on a 400-mile round trip.

I've discovered Hubnut. I agree about him being an antidote and whilst i enjoy some of his output sometimes it is deathly boring. However i'm enjoying his NZ videos. Somewhere I've always wanted to visit.
