Spotted that on a Facebook page I follow recently. Despite the fact that the 340 was never a great car and was by that stage hopelessly dated I do have many fond memories from sitting in them as my dad had several including a 1987 1.7 GL but his was a saloon in red. Most have been destroyed as drift cars believe it or not but I’d quite like this one myself, in fact I had to be dragged away from an 88 360 GLT 3DR in very nice condition for sale at a car show not long back for £3,500. Been tempted recently by a 440 GLT too.
Always a supporter of the underdog. Hopefully I’ll get to scratch that 80’s/90’s retro itch when the boss starts bringing in a wage. I always wanted a 240 or 740 Estate and a black 480ES. None of them were the greatest but these were the things I drooled over at the Volvo dealer across from my dads shop as a kid.
